More than 100,000 North Carolina licensed teachers and principals participated in the 2012 NC Teacher Working Conditions (NC TWC) Survey, according to the Initial Findings report by the New Teacher Center this morning presented to State Board of Education members. NC TWC findings are used to help inform state education policy, develop schools’ annual improvement plans and more recently, in the state’s educator evaluation process.
