RALEIGH – Harris Teeter plans to share its good luck in selling the winning ticket in a recent Carolina Cash 5 jackpot with four schools in Guilford County.
Harris Teeter, a Charlotte-based grocery and pharmacy chain, received a $4,000 incentive bonus after one of its Greensboro stores sold the winning ticket in the April 24 Cash 5 drawing. The $133,046 jackpot was won by Leslie Brown of Greensboro.
The company plans to donate its incentive money to four schools at a ceremony on Friday, May 18, at 10 a.m. at the West Market Street Harris Teeter, located at 4640 W. Market St., in Greensboro. The schools receiving a $1,000 check each are Morehead Elementary, Grimsley High School, Our Lady of Grace and Ragsdale High School.
